The new Dread Lord ultimate, Corpse Implosion, does indeed use
corpses. Each corpse is turned into a black hole that sucks a
nearby unit into it. It leaves a nifty little terrain deformation
behind, too. Geoff and Warblade! were able to completely surround
my town in black holes in today's test. Unfortunately I think it's
going to have to go live that way since I don't really have time to
fix it now.
Sarcasm is about all you can expect from me at this hour. :)
Eureka! Time of Day does influce (programmer) abilities!
In all seriousness, the new Dread Lord spell is very cool and once
revealed I think you'll all agree that the Dread Lord is now
officially Bad to the Bone. I'd let you know what it is, but I
wouldn't want to spoil Geoff's fun.
Believe me, I bereve the loss of Dark Summoning (okay purely for
the effects) as much as anyone - I put the spell in the game after
all. The new ultimate far surpasses its usefulness and coolness
factor. I'm working with Pardo to try and incorporate the Dark
Summoning effect elsewhere in the game, because we all tend to
agree that it was extremely cool to see an ethereal effect like
that travel across the map, especially when it goes through an
enemy base.
For the record, when Geoff and I mention how "cool" the
spell is, we are not referring to it as if it had something to do
with the cold. It couldn't be farther from it :)

Das Night Elf Upgrade ist aber ein Witz. Das kann man weglassen auch.
